ABOUT ME
I'm Josiah—a photographer and a wannabe marathon athlete. My passion for photography began in 2019 when I discovered a film camera in the back closet of my childhood home. I became obsessed with capturing moments with friends, family, and during my travels across the country. Over time, I fell in love with the unique beauty of each couple's love story, as seen through the lens, and decided to pursue wedding photography as a full-time career.
WEDDING & ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
I'M JOSIAH
I'm that extroverted guy who's always down for a good conversation! I love Jesus, my wife Isabella, my family, my dog Luka, my friends, and running marathons (among other things).
Back in 2019, I was home from college for Christmas break when I found an old film camera tucked away in the back room of my parents' house. I asked if I could have it, and they said yes.
Naturally, I grabbed some friends, shot a few rolls of film, and eagerly waited to see the results. The photos came back... absolutely terrible. But somehow, I was hooked.
I spent countless hours watching YouTube videos, reading everything I could, and practicing whenever I had the chance. Little by little, photography became more than just a hobby—it became something I genuinely loved.
Fast forward a few years, and not much has changed. I'm still just a guy with a camera who loves telling people's stories.
Photography isn't just about creating beautiful images for me. It's about preserving the moments you'll want to relive for the rest of your life. Whether it's the quiet moments before your ceremony, the tears during your vows, or the chaos of the dance floor, I want to capture it in a way that feels honest, timeless, and true to you.
More than anything, my goal is to serve people well and glorify God through the gifts He's given me. If you choose to trust me with your wedding day, I want to be one of the easiest and best decisions you make. By the end of the day, I hope you don't just feel like you hired a photographer—I hope you feel like you gained a friend.
There is nothing more rewarding to me than watching two people celebrate one of the greatest days of their lives and giving them photographs they'll cherish for generations.
